The mechanism developed in partnership with Bonetag associates RFID technology with a pressure sensor, which can be placed on the surface of orthopedic prosthetics. This solution enables in vivo traceability of prosthetics, evaluating their functionality over time (loss of adhesion to the bone), while helping to establish a complete worldwide register of prosthetics, an indispensable tool for performing large-scale medical studies.
