AxLR, the technology transfer acceleration company, is organized into four departments:
In charge of raising researchers’ awareness with respect to generating value from their work; detecting innovations and projects in laboratories; and helping such projects reach maturity (with support from a maturation fund) before any entrepreneurial transition takes place.
Business Development Department
Marketing and licensing aspects; in charge of contacting companies that could potentially be interested in the patent portfolio, competency, expertise, and equipment in local research laboratories.
Administrative, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Systems Department
In charge of overall general-ledger and analytical accounting, cash management, accounting and financial reports, information systems, and human resources.
In charge of drafting contracts and industrial property documents (i.e. for patents, software, etc.).
